Euler equations on the general linear group, cubic curves, and inscribed hexagons

We study integrable Euler equations on the Lie algebra$\mathfrak{gl}(3,\mathbb{R})$ by interpreting them as evolutions on the spaceof hexagons inscribed in a real cubic curve.
